The Company

General Manhattan Financial was founded on the premise of helping people in all aspects of their personal and business financial lives. We take the clients’ general financial situations, and then reduce them to the specifics. We then give each area the appropriate time necessary for the client to reach a decision.

Our Commitment

General Manhattan Financial believes that you must strive to have an efficient financial life. But to get there, you must first understand what it takes, why it’s important, and that there is no such concept of financial "cruise control." For example, low interest is great for debt, but bad for savings accounts. Being over insured can be as ineffective as being under insured. Returns can be higher if the cost of the investment is kept low. An efficient tax strategy means maximum control of your dollars now and in the future. And, when the time does come, everything should go to loved ones and organizations exactly the way you intended with minimal time, confusion and cost.

Our Philosophy

We believe in optimism. It is difficult to profit in the long run without being optimistic about the future. But caution is vital, particularly when navigating an uncertain market. Our investment philosophy is two-fold: tactical and personal. Our tactical approach circles around strategic asset allocation, diversification, and adjustments depending on global economic conditions and current policy. Equally important is the personal dynamic. By assessing our clients’ situation, understanding their goals, and evaluating risk and time parameters, we are able to tailor investment strategies based on their unique situation.

Investing involves risks, including the loss of principal. There is no guarantee that a diversified portfolio will enhance overall returns or outperform a non-diversified portfolio. Diversification does not protect against market risk.
